I ordered one on ebay, and it doesn't fit in my fob correctly, as it overlapped where the ridges on the button were. After a couple of days on my fob, it fell off.

I just got two from ebay and they look nice but they sit too high up on the key and I have to push a little hard to get it in and out of its slot, it also causes the lock button to be pushed.Key Roundel-img_0139-copy.jpgKey Roundel-img_0137-copy.jpg

Can you give me the link that you used for this roundel. The one that I bought is very flat and doesn't look orginal. I'll post the link when I get back to my home computer where I bought this one.

or just buy this? at $8 plus locksmith cost, its a pretty good deal for an effectively brand-new key?

but not sure whether its OEM.. has anyone done this?

Hmm...I don't think it's that easy. From what I understand, only the dealer can cut the key and they won't do that.
