So today JUST after leaving the dealer 3 days ago, I was drivin along fine, using DS mode, manual shifting a little bit and puttin back into D until suddently I notice, DS does not work, nor does shifting-it just stays in D no matter which side the shifter is on and does not responde to manual shifts.

Seems the tranny works fine as far as performance-but only will stay in D-I popped the console off but there is way too many gadgets under there to even begin to start.

Off to dealer in the morning but this would be a very wierd problem. Essentially its a software or electrical issue I am guessing since D works but who knows. Ridiculous how unreliable my car has been.
1.entire cylinder head replaced
2.entire steering column replaced
3.early worn motor mounts
4. transmission will not work

that about covers the car-engine, steering and tranny! Anyone have thoughts

Pull up the gear shift panel, make sure all the connections underneath are secure, this happens when one of the plugs is loose.

already done-plugs all in tact and wirin all find as I can see-
