I moved to No-Cal and visited a new BMW dealer, had my car 15K service done and i-drive update. It was AWESOME! My AE/dealer in So-Cal was a big headache, he had never done anything correctly. What a different to have this dealer done my car, I am a very happy customer! Getting another BMW become possible now.

Nice, congrats...mind sharing who your so cal dealer was and who your no cal dealer is for other members local to both areas. SA names would help also....

Thank you, I don't drive as much as I used to, but I rather enjoy bicycling with you SF folks. =) Indeed, I scooter a lot around city.
Matt from Sonnen BMW is cool. The overall experience was pleasant, very get to the point & no drama.
The person in so-cal I rather not to mention who it was, although Alhambra isn't that big. Couple so-cal members have mentioned their practice before. I reported a few times that the idrive freezes and they said: if that was it, we rather "Not open another can of worms". Sound familiar to some of you yeah? Let me translate that in English for ya'll, he actually said: I hung over last night, I don't want to work too hard.
This was the first time I report idrive problem to Sonnen and it was fixed immediately, no beer worms or wat-sa-ever! I spent the less time to explain but results are more then double. The idrive is faster, prettier and easier to use ever. New options in Navi is miles radian for searching info-on-location, clicks that we can go back to previous screen and many tiny things. The navi positioning update is faster too, you will see the map moves more frequently. The new color schema is nice too but I don't know what version it is.
