hi, can you pm me the guy you used, that sounds like a great price, also, do you know any good tint shops that do the blended edges on windows???
Thanks in advance.
Gary
Thanks in advance.
Gary
The owners name is George. They came right to my house today and did the work, right in their truck (It's a special, bubble-shaped looking truck). They did a GREAT job and only charged me $85. Tell them Calton with the Black 5 series and M3 CSL wheels sent you. They did it today, so use today's date as a reference. They'll hook you up.
As for getting your tint microedged, I had it done by a shop here on the island, but they are no longer in business. Their's another place in the city that's supposed to be amazing and I'm sure they micro-edge, but they're not cheap. It's called, The Art of Tint (http://www.theartoftint.com).
I've had my last 2 BMW's micro-edged and I will never go back to having a tint gap on the window. It looks almost stock, it's so tight to the edge. And I've never had any problems with peeling on my E39 or my E60.
Good luck!
Hey everyone,
Thanks for the replies. They are expensive wheels about 1000$ each. I am located in los angeles, ca. Let me know of a reputable place. The only thing that needs repair is the lip. Im glad to hear this can be fixed! I thought I was out another 1000$.
Thanks
Eddie

if your dealer offers wheel repair for a reasonable price, then go for it. i know mckenna in norwalk, a guy has his shop right across from the dealership and does great work. other than that, you could try going to a local tire/wheel shop. i know some shops would ship your wheels out for one day to be repaired and you get it back the next day. hope this helps.

Eddie: the forum is more effective for you and enjoyable for all of us if you put location in your information. Your street address is not necessary but your city is a fine way to do it.
I suggested a lot of times to make obligatory to fill the location field at the registration!
