Just received a recall letter in the mail

I got a letter two weeks ago for something else. The letter was for a recall on the rear shock absorber. My car production is feb. '06. I am schedule for service this thursday.

I got both the steering notice and the shock notice.
4/06 car manufacture date.

A couple months ago my I Drive reported a problem. Took the car into the dealer and they replaced the steering censor. It took about a week for the part to arrive and there were four other cars in the center for the same issue at the time. Since then no problems. In 13K miles this has been the single quality issue.

No letter yet. Maybe it is in the mail box. Build date 09/05

It looks that way. Mine has a 4/06 build date. I tried to call my dealer today to schedule an appt but I was in phone hell so I'll have to wait for tomorrow to confirm. But I trust the letter telling me I fall within the recall.
