My Ride: Alpine White/Auburn '04 530i
Default

Hey all, after reading these forums for the past couple months i finally picked up my new 530 (alpine white/auburn). The only thing i really regret about the purchase was not getting the xenons . I know there has been other threads on the this forum in regards to upgrading the headlights, but i'm still quite confused on the whole subject. Some say it can and others say it cant. There is this guy on ebay that's selling the xenon lights with bulbs and ballasts, he claims that you can easily upgrade from halogen to xenon. I've emailed him asking if its really possible to do so and he told me yes and that he knows others that have done the retrofit no problem. I was hoping that someone who knows more about the subject can lend me some info into whether or not what he's saying is the truth. I got price of 1300 with shipping, i have no problem buying these lights if they do infact work, however i'd be pretty pissed buying them and having it not work. Here is a link to the auction:

Thanks in advance for the help guys!

Welcome def! Don't be too hurry to get the xenons. Do some reserach first. IMO the one listed in the ebay is way too expensive. Tell us where you are located at and perhaps someone can help you out.

Please add NYC or at least USA to your profile. Makes it easier to answer questions for everybody in the future, since E60's are country spec.
