This is the trip I'm going to take with my car back from Deutchland. Roughly 2200km with an overnight stop in Budapest at a great motel.

How about car thefts in your country? Is E60 safe to park on the street?

altough it might seem like a not-so-safe place to park expensive cars...we have tons of luxury cars being parked everywhere - right beside very old and cheap cars.
for example in about 3km radius from where I live there are (from what I've seen) about 7 new x5's (the old ones don't count anymore) a few e60 (less than the x5's), a gallardo, about 5 s-series from mercedes, 5 or 6 mini coopers and they are all parked on the street. an it's not an expensive neighbourhood.
in the summer there are 3 slr's runing around town and last summer I also saw a porsche gt3. This summer I guess it's gona be a audi r8 summer, as I already saw a few arround town. My city has a population of 250.000.
it's amazing the cars people in romania buy. actually when I was in Germany I saw less "nice" cars than in Constanta.

thank you....but I haven't been clear enough, sorry...I was talking about the circumference of the steering wheel at the point where you hold it in your hand - not the total circumference. thank you again protams

Interesting info, as my wife still refuse to take the car to meet my in-laws in Ukraine. But Ukraine is not Romania...
