OK, not Jo'burg as such, but Sandton ... commuting on the ring road to the MTN offices, I'm just soooo surprized how many BMW e90's and e60's are on the road there. They're like GM's in USA and Honda and Toyoto's in Canada ...

Why? Is it they are prices so much pretty in SA?

Also went to the Auston Martin dealer in Sandton, sat in the DB9, love it!

Definitely lots of E60's here (and Sandton in particular). But very few MSports packs.

You were in my home town, but I am in the UK right now, and I can not believe the number of E60's with MSport packs here. Have seen at least 15 in the past week. Three of which had style 172 wheels, and most of which were carbon black.

Possibly cause BMW has a huge plant in South Africa that makes E90's?

No worries - Porsche Cayennes and VW Touareg bodies are made in Slovakia and Audi TT's are from Hungary.

No idea. The Finnish car industry is Porsche, errrr I mean Valmet, so I would have expected them to win it.

And shhhhhhsh... not a word about Lada Samara's
