jumping wiper blade
Hi, anyone experience jerking windscreen wiper? Even brand new sets of wiper blade, it "jumps" and create noise. Is there any we can do? Can it be the motor of the wiper?
I had in March replaced windscreen. Can it be the windscreen material?

What are you using in the resevoir?
Use a clay bar and clean that front windshield, then clean the wiper blade well with a sponge and car shampoo.

I thought it was a design flaw...my old wiper blades and new wiper blades both did the same thing.
I've used a clay bar...and rain x. Clay bar didn't seem to do much. I thought the rain x actually helped reduce the jumping especially since they don't need to be on as often when the rain just rolls off.

carnuba wax on the windshield to see what effect it has. My friend says that butter
will stop it from skipping
don't think it will do much for seeing through the windshield though.

I had this problem last Winter, replaced the wiper blades, applied Rain-x, nothing worked.
It ended up being one of the wiper arms was SLIGHTLY bent, so it chattered terribly. Once it was straightened out it was nice and quiet!
