As always, thanks Fred for posting the numbers. I'm seeing more and more E60's on the road so I'm not sure what to think about the downward blip this month.

The 5-series was down 50%, however the previous year it was up 50%. Probably artificially high numbers clearing out the soon to be replaced '03s. It is down 25% or so from the '02 numbers.

This sector is over subscribed with entries from MB, BMW, Audi, Jaguar, Lexus, Infiniti, Acura, and Cadillac. Other models, such as Chrysler's 300 adn Volvo S80, also woo some buyers. And then their are the SUVs. Very competitve.

BMW used to have the clear best entry in the class. Now it is one of the pack.
