My Ride: 2005 530i JETBLACK/BLACK DAKOTA, COLD WEATHER PKG, PREMIUM PKG, ADAPTIVE XENON HEADLIGHTS, AUTO TRANSMISSION WITH 6 SPEED STEPTRONIC, BLUETOOTH SETUP,SAT SETUP AND WIFE AS CO-PILOT
i also agree...... my car is garaged jet black and always has a great wet look to it.... its some work to clean it.... but good maintanance in between..... you can have the car with a great wax and shine for a good month without a wash.... a california duster and meg gold class quick detail and your good.... its been 3 weeks since last i washed mine... and i drive it everyday. jet black .. i love it.. eric d

I keep mine ina garage and then 2 times a MONTHS let it properly by hand washed.
If someboy scratch it *** it is much cheaper to get it painted as it is non-metalic color, so I stay with JET. Also if you want to mod it it is better for that too. Spoliers etc.
PS. When you drive it you feel like in a JET
I wanted Individual RubinSchwarz but not for 4000+...pure black is JET, my 0.02.

i have saphirre but agree with wolverine 100%. for those brief 5 minutes right after you wash jet black, its absolutely TOPS 
bottom line, if u like to wash your car religiously get jet. if you like to was it once a week, like me, then get saphirre.
oh yeah, im a little biased, but NTG beats black with an auburn interior
