Jerking issue

Default Jerking issue

I have an 06 525i with a 6HP19 A/T i am having a real bad issue when i accelerate my car starts to jerk it doesnt seem to do it when i am in Sport Mode.. All this happened after i did a Transmission service,i replaced my Pan, Fluid, all 6 sleeves, NEW Solenoids! i havent had this problem before i did this job.. what can i do to fix this issue?

Double check your fluids and reset your adaptions.

i did. my fluids are topped off and i have reseted adaptations, still has that issue.. its lacking power...

may be a stupid question, but have to rule it out, did you use the proper fluid? what kind did you use? did you use any additives like lucas or anything?

Yes i used Pentosin ATF 1 from FCP EURO.. no lucas additive.. was i suppose to?

Another thing that some may not be aware of is keeping the car running while filling the transmission until it starts running out of the filler hole - and at the correct temperature.

However - if you changed all those parts then I would guess you did a bit of research before hand.

Yes the car was running while filling... the car never had this problem before. Not sure why this is happening its pretty annoying.. i have to stay in sport mode for it wont be jerking.

Why did you replace the solenoids? Was there an existing condition?

Yes. Theirs was a faulty solenoid P0979 if i remember correctly. So i replaced all 7 with new Solenoids by FCP Euro...
