My Ride: 530i 6 speed
On my way home from work, I got a dynamic drive failure. Haven't had this one.
The car makes hard thumps when cornering and made wierd whining noises when I turned it off in the garage.
This is in addition to the sound/HUD dropouts, the SMG problems, the crashing IDrive, the creaking window seals, the rough idle, etc.
This is it, its one problem after another with the car!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooooooooooo fed up. I am soooo done with BMW right now.

DE lemon law is 30 days out of service or 4 repair attempts for the SAME problem.
I already talked to a lwyer friend, its pointless in my current situation.

Wow man if I didnt tust and believe in you and if you wernt such an old member and that I've followed your horror stories one after another I would have thought you made it all up and was a troll on the board to bad mouth BMW.
Its amazingly scary how much problems you've had with your car... Sorry once again to hear about another one.
What are you plans? Are you going to sell it or Lemon it? or what?
I would have gotten rid of it LONG ago. You're very patient with your car already. I'm impressed.
If I were you I would trade it in if you cant lemon it. I rather trade it and let the dealer deal with it than sell it to a private person... it would suck to be the buyer...
What car are you going to get now? A6?

I am definitely not a troll, but a big BMW fan. I have had 6 BMWs over the past 20 years....
Honestly, I don't know what to do. Lemon won't work.
I wouldn't sell it to a private person, I am too honest for this stuff.
I am looking into the Infiiti M35, the Lexus GS 300, but I am not sooo rich that I can simply buy a new car and take the financial hit - I had saved for my "dream car" I currently drive for 4 years.
Audi scares me a bit, one of my colleagues has an A6 - he had a loaner since Thanksgiving weekend now.... they can't fix the engine/transmission problem he has.
