If you car is leaky then repair as soon as possible, because in wet conditions there are chances of mold and mildew formation. If mold formed, then remove it by using vinegar. This is cheap, Eco-friendly and easily available product. But take precautions while removing mold like wear gloves and mask.

not to sound dumb but i dont see the drains in the sunroof can you guys shoe me pictures of what it looks like i cant find it

after buying my E60 certified pre owned from Long Beach BMW 3 months ago, i had the same leak. took it in monday, and they are redoing the seal as we speak. but i hope they do something about the headliner. i dont want that stain.

Man I have this same leak. I just noticed a small stain in the passenger side by the rear windshield. Do you have a link to a DIY to replace the sunroof seal?

the sunroof seal on these cars should probably be replaced every few years in my opinion. they loose their shape as they age, and let more water in, even if its closed. along with increased road noise at speed.

and if you open the sunroof, there is a sunroof drain hole in each corner. its a small hole so leaves and such can easily plug it up.

all u guys thats have these leaks,, check under the spare tire and make sure your modules are dry,, and relocate them anyways,, even if its dry in the spare tire compartment,,
