I have just renewed mine with Groupama http://www.groupama.co.uk/you/car-insurance/default.asp

They are extremely competitive, they take into account low risk drivers, ie no claims, offer discounts if you hold an HGV license. They origianlly quoted me ?700 but got them down to less than ?500. I got free Key care programme, free legal cover and no admin costs....push them and they will give you discounts. Give them a try, nothing ventured nothing gained.

Was also paying less than that for:

+1 car
-1 boat
- jewlery

...now down to 2 cars again but have yet to see my new bill.

However now with a kid on the way I'm calculating I need to save over $700 per month to afford to pay for college

I remember paying ?350 a year for insurance on a car that cost ?300 thats just not right!

Just to rub it in...............I pay about $650-$700 a year full coverage with only a $250 deduct.


Wow you guys just take it in the rear in England with everything to do with having a car.

Holy Shite, i was paying that for a Supercharged S2000!!!!! shop around buddy im sure youll find someone cheaper than that!

I pay 71 Euros a month, with FULL coverage and depending on the claim, the deductible is a max of 252 Euros. I also get paid 52 Euros for every day that I am without my car while it is being repaired.

nope, if they wont qoute me first time they loose my business, plenty more out there, it just so happens swiftcover can do it for ?380 (?450 excess)
