my insurance is due next month, so i have looking around for quotes, i cant belive how some think that ?2000 is a competive quote,
LV.com wanted nearly ?2000, just tried norwich union and got a quote for ?1700 plus they want silly exces amounts of ?550 and above, my driving history is clean, im
nearly 37 (b-day july) and i have 10 years no-claims plus have been driving for 18 years, my current policy is ?460.

just renewed mine too. on the 525 2005 m sport auto.

4yrs no claims and protected it for me and mrs who only just passed in april 2009, clean licence, no accidents, 33 yrs old. with halifax ex of ?250 for ?650, and thats the cheapest i got, travelling 10k in the year with business use, and i live in a high risk area.

there is a company called premium chioce who quoted ?477, for me on my own but went up to ?1k + when added the wife. so try them, google it.

the best advice i can give is start looking for your insurance 1or 2 before it expires, on web sites (confused, money supermarket, tesco compare, gocompare etc) just by spending a few hours a day, could mean saving 2 quid of the premium.

Jeez, I am 35 with 10 years no claims and the only mod i have done is fit the msport kit. My Norwich Union quote was ?360, i live in the countryside and the car is in the driveway at night. Not sure if that makes any difference.
