iPod play lists not displaying

My Ride: 2008 E61 535xiT Black on Black
Hey there,
This is my first experience with use of a BMW-integrated iPod interface, but something doesn't seem right here. I can't access any play lists, just the raw music files. Is there some kind of voodoo involved here? I'm not above sacrificing a chicken to get my music up and running properly
Any assistance is appreciated!

My Ride: check siggg
this looks like you used a regular usb to ipod cable to connect to your car. you need the adaptor.

this looks like you used a regular usb to ipod cable to connect to your car. you need the adaptor.

BMW of Sterling near my house wanted $97 with BMWCCA discount. BMW of Fairfax charged $57 with the BMWCCA discount. It was worth the traffic for the close to 50% savings
Works like a charm!
