Hey there,

This is my first experience with use of a BMW-integrated iPod interface, but something doesn't seem right here. I can't access any play lists, just the raw music files. Is there some kind of voodoo involved here? I'm not above sacrificing a chicken to get my music up and running properly

Any assistance is appreciated!

this looks like you used a regular usb to ipod cable to connect to your car. you need the adaptor.

These forums are pretty great. I'm picking up a new cable today. Many thanks Jasper!

I bought p/n 61 12 0 440 812 for my 16GB iPod Nano. The documentation that comes with the 812 cables says "for iPods produced 2004 and later".

BMW of Sterling near my house wanted $97 with BMWCCA discount. BMW of Fairfax charged $57 with the BMWCCA discount. It was worth the traffic for the close to 50% savings

Works like a charm!
