with my new '08 500 with ipod/aux, I am experiencing a higher pitch screetch type noise for about 3-5 seconds into a song. I find a new song, and just as it's starting, same type of sound. It's almost the same as the sound on a CD if you listen closely as the laser moves, but of course, no laser here.

the Ipod works perfectly fine in all other devices and speaker systems, as well as headphones. I also updated IPOD to newest firmware, erased and reloaded all songs.

Anyone else having this issue, and is there a fix? I've done a search, but it wasn't my friend this time around.

 

Haven't noticed that, but have noticed issues with the display, sometimes just the song playing, sometimes the entire playlist the song playing is in....
