Here you go. This is my Winter setup (Powdercoated 166's with Blizzak LM-22's). These pictures were taken last year around Thanksgiving. This is a dark, metallic graphite color. It's not black. Come to think of it, if Ed did this to some 166's against AW, it might not look so bad. I still prefer the 167's or the VB3's though.

that used set I bought...still sitting in my garage. The set that came with my 535i I traded along wiht some cash for my 166's....the used one i bought are rashed up...I know how you feel about rashed wheels..but if you are interested.....

As for the wheels, I am a fan of the 167s and the 172s (the OEM wheel on the 550i Sport).

I got my 2009 550 in March when BMW had a $2500 rebate. I brought mine for $800 above dealer cost (invoice plus PACO plus training fee) and then I got the $2500 rebate.

Invoice is $54120, and I pay 52800(includes tax and license)
