Has anyone come across a fault with the int. wash/wipe that when you put it on it work for a couple of minutes then stops requiring normal wiper operation to clear rain? Is this a faulty sensor?

There are three basic speeds for the wipers, interval (5 step), normal and speedy.

The rain sensor in your window (back view mirror) rules these all.

What exactly is your problem - in driving or standing still and...?

I have had this problem. My problem specifically is when I turned the wipers on it would only go back forth twice and not work anymore. Took it to the dealership and they ended up hooking it up to the computer and resetting it. They said maybe too much snow was on the wipers and cause an error in the computer. Hope that helps!

Have you become familiar with the intermittent settings and ruled them out as the cause? Snow in August? I am at 6,000 feet but its 90 degrees...Good luck.
