Although my rate didn't go down because I didn't remove a car from my policy, the 545 is only adding $140 to the cost of a six month premium. 
I thought it would add $500+ to the cost. Excellent!

I was checking insurance rates for the SLK55 AMG... surprise... it costs $200 more a year than a 'regular' SLK 350 and about the same as the GTI. So I asked the agent why the premium is "so low"... and the reply was that the Person Injury claims are relatively low (probably because of safety features of the car).
