Update: The Umnitza is $349, M-Tech is $629, and M-Style is also $329.
Is M-Style made from Poly Propylene like Umnitza?

Vlad - I was rear-ended last month. I went to the dealership and asked for quotes for M Aero rear bumper retrofit and regular 04-07 rear bumper. Both were the same price so my insurance isn't going to say no to the M Aero bumper.
Here are the part numbers for the M Aero retrofit rear bumper
-> 51-12-7-897-222 bumper trim panel
-> 51-12-7-897-217 flap, towing eye
-> 51-12-7-897-215 cover for diffuser or 51-12-7-404-935 (carbon fiber, this won't fly since it costs 11x more :-p)
-> 64-22-6-910-722 rear ventilation
good luck!

Or do what I did with one of our other cars, a Golf 1.6. The front had some damage that insurance said they'd take care of. I told them they had to do it at a VW shop which they did -- and the shop told them to NOT use the 'outdated discontinued' front but to use the newer one that replaced it, which was the GTI bumper. Tada! It arrived with the GTI front..... only one problem now:
I've got to get the rest of the GTI kit since the sides and back are still the normal Golf..... lol

Not that you need any more input, but if you need to know anything specific, don't hesitate to PM me.
BMW bumpers are pretty expensive, so you can probably get an entire Umnitza kit for the price of an OEM bumper, or close to it. Do remember that there's also shipping, painting and so on.
There you go
YOU CAN CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY AND MAKE THEM SEND THE CHECK TO YOU! END OF STORY! DOES NOT MATTER WHAT SHOP YOU USE!

In Illinois some body shops are direct repair centers for an insurance company. You never get the check and it goes directly to the body shop. That how is was for the large body shop that I worked for. If you want to have them install a different(non-oem) you can ask the body shop to do this for you. Depending on the body shop, they may purchase the different part (with you paying the difference) or you can bring in your own bumper but you must tell them before the order the replacement parts. The only issue you may be presented with is the "installation hours" that the insurance company has allotted for the repair. It would be the body shops discretion if they will install using the same hours. For instants, if the M-Tech bumper takes more time to install than a stock bumper, then they may bill you for the difference. I would discuss that with them before you have them start working on the car. Good Luck
