You can see those infos in dash by using the hidden emnu, in HUD by entering the hidden HUD menu, or by installing the ACM.
BUT: You don't need those! The car is monitoring all systems and will warn you earlier than you would see it on a gauge when there is a problem with the Volts, etc.

Anybody have a spare CCC they can loan me? From what I understand, its just a PC or PDA with MS Windows CE loaded on it. I'm thinking it couldn't be that hard to build some software package that gives you all this real time information from the OBD bus.
I posted about the OBD-II probe I hooked up the other day. It gives you all of this information and more on your laptop. Maybe someone makes one of those ford-truck-bolt-on-the-column-instrumentation-thingies that can read this stuff off the OBD-II interface for the E60. Maybe it comes complete with a flannel shirt, a pair of cowboy boots, and a shotgun.
