inside the door panel

Hi I have a question? I have a 04 530i and for some strange reason the inside of the door panel where the window swich is at is starting to peel....apprently the rubber piece is cover with blck flim....and also the stock radio...where i turn on the volume underneath it also peeling.....help is this just me
