Bingo! I had a '03 E55 AMG, and while it was crazy fast (0 - 60 mph in 4.3 sec., 469 hp, 516 lb/ft of torque), the handling, steering and brakes were horrible. I sold it after only 4 months...at some point 0 - 60 speed has diminishing marginal returns.
