Increased emissions?? help...

My idrive is saying "increased emissions" and the yellow engine light is lit in the instrument cluster, does anyone know what this is about before i take it to the mechanic? has anyone encountered a similiar problem? what is the problem and how much to fix? it's also telling me to drive at "moderate speeds"
btw..i have a 05' 545..thx

Myu car was CPO'ed so it cost nothing. It's some valve near the intake that needs to be replaced. I would expect it will cost you somewhere in the 4-5 range if your mechanic does the work.

check the oxygen sensors. I had same problem before and I replaced with new ones (There are 4 btw) then the problem disappeared.
