Increased emission??

So i was turned my car on and..... the light turns on, on the panel... and it says "Increased Emission"...
what does it mean??! Does that mean i have to bring my car in for a check up? help needed!! thanks!

get the OBD 2 code pulled. Most likely a thermostat problem.

I have the same engine light on warning come out this weekend
