I just started getting a similar message on my LCI 525d. After some experimentation, it message displays when I lock the car and it sits for 30 mins or so, but everything seems fine if I leave the it unlocked. So far, I have not had any difficultly starting the car. I suspect I either have a faulty sensor or something is not right with Comfort Access.
Anyone have any other thoughts?

Mine doesn't have Comfort Access though.

I had the same issue, and they ended up having to replace the TCU (telematics). For some reason the computer was not able to go into hibernation mode while the car was off, so it would start to run down the battery.

Just had the same thing this weekend. Bmw tech came and disconnected battery, reconnected after a short period and everything has been fine since.

Just started getting this problems with mine, exactly as you describe above, no problems starting though. Mine too is an LCI 525d. Did you get this fixed?
Mine doesn't have Comfort Access though.

The warning message has since however stopped coming on. No warnings in over a week now. What I was told however was not to leave any accessories plugged into the cigarette lighter when turning off the engine, as it is possible for the car to detect the increased load at switch off which can, in certain circumstances, prevent the car from going into sleep mode and hence begin to drain the battery. Another BMW tech previously told me however, that this issue had been fixed on previous CIP versions so not sure if this is true?

Amazing - I just got the same error message this morning on my LCI 550! Never seen it before. It was outside for the night. A lot of rain here, but pretty warm temps.
The car started and ran without a problem. It'll be interesting to see what happens when I try to restart the car after work today.

i had this problem too, it happened every morning when i start the engine. ..
no other problems, everything ran fine...
called up the dealer to fix an appt, (also to fix other things like boot rattling, etc), requested for a loaner car...waited for 2 mths, and still havent
gone into servicing.
and the error magically disappeared...discovered a puddle of water in the battery area...drained that out and the prob disappeared..
