Importing an e60 to Canada - Daytime running lights.

Tried to import volvo S80 I-6(V6) AWD from canada to US as AWD is not even an option for US Volvo S80 V6(US has V8 with AWD). I wanted S80-V6-AWD and Candian dealer and US customer service for VOLVO said NO, Cars are made specific for the countries and have strict rules if you take it from Canada to US.
I asked even ED-Sweden pick up custom AWD on V6(S80). They again said NO again. AWD in V6 not for US., maybe next year It may come as an option. I said forget it and I am going to go for BMW and they said OK.
Happy,it worked out in a nice way and my 2008 xi is on the way( pickup next week? once EPA-OKs).
