I can't wait to get there and check out my new baby. I'm also really glad that I got the Euro map DVD for the Nav system. We're traveling for 3 weeks after pick-up from Munich to Neuschwanstein to Bodensee (lake constance) then to a town with hot springs pools (Bad Urach), then to Strasbourg, then for 4 days in Paris, then to Provence where we're renting a house for a week....

The Nav will definitely come in handy!!!

I think I got all the stuff together, even made a binder with photos of all the places and details in the pages.

I would send pics from my mobile phone that has a camera built in, but I can't figure out how to send it here. It can send to any e-mail address, but it can't log in here and enter passcodes, etc....

I'll have to wait til I get back I guess.

You will love the nav here in Europe. Used it to get home. It has a meter to help you know when you need to turn in a round about. It is sweet. Have fun on your trip.

thanks for all the words of excitement. I'll try to control myself with speed as best I can. The web site Rollee is a great idea, I'll do that upon return. I've got tons of memory for my digicam and expect to be shooting lots.

It is really odd though that all one has to do is show a drivers' license and a passpot to get handed a car. Not even a reciept or anything else from the dealer. Maybe a fingerprint...??? ha ha.

I guess it works well, but it'll be the first thing anyone gave me of that kind of value with only these kind of things before!
