Right just wanted to report back.

After a week at the $tealers I have my car back with CIP 31 ( I was previously on 29.1 ) with iPod adapter installed, Mirrors closing when the car locks and MP3 playback via the CD Player.

What doesn't work though is my iPhone with the Bluetooth connectivity. It still connects then disconnects with no address book syncing.

Oh well......time to sell it now to buy the M5 I'm hankering after

Can't you check via the hidden idrive menu? I mean, I know I can on my car but I don't have the sheet that tells me what the TDS relates too. I know the 08-03 is the base date (March of 2008). I have the sheet for all of 2006 but nothing later than that.
