Old thread but I owned an M35...for about 9 months....HATED IT --- regretted selling my 2004 BMW....so now, I'm back in a 535i...

Do not buy the M...absolutely no personality or soul.....

I love my E60 (545i, M6) but the M45 is one hell of a car too. Yes, the M35 is a bit blah but a 45 with sport is truly nice. Has that jap feel and all but the interior is nice, the motor is flawless, handles great and even look OK. I wouldn't/didn't buy one but as an alernative is worth a look....just my 2 cents.
