If you have a 'D' and have vibration problems, read this.
Well, my 2 year warranty was coming up (actually gone by the time you read this) and I took my car into the shop to fix up anything before time was up.
I again complained about the vibration of the car when it was in "D" stationary or when in "P" stationary. I somehow told the technican to check to see if the exhaust system was loose and causing the vibration.
Well, they went and checked it from that direction and came across a problem that they thought was causing it:
The engine mount.
The engine rests on 'rubber inflatable mounts' that isolate the engine from the frame by channeling air into the rubber mounts keeping it inflated. Well, in my case, they found that the air pressure was way low ( 0.8 'something) and that was causing the engine to more or less settle directly on the frame causing vibration.
If you have vibration problems, you might want to check it and see if it's the same in your case.
Sorry, I don't know the technical terms of the above so I just wrote it in super-layman terms... lol

Yeah thanks Rislar i know!
It was out of curioucity i wasn't given that explanation, they just changed the mounts.
80% of vibrations went away so cannot really complain!
You've changed your avatar again ?? Better luck next time !
