Hi there
does anyone know what they mean, I've got a vehicle inspection due but a satic inspection due in 4 months so I'm wondering if it's worth waiting.
Thanks

The statutory inspection is your MOT. Its up to you if you tie in both together. My dealer isnt far away so I personally wouldn't bother but if your times money then it may be worth doing them together. Although I wouldn't leave the vehicle inspection longer as that may have implications on goodwill if you ever need it.

If you go into your iDrive Service Requirements, you might see someting like the displays in the pdf below. The 'Stat'utory Vehicle & Exhaust Inspections are usually linked together and like Dandle says is for the MOT. Other indications can be called up to tell you what other services are likely to be due.

Thanks for the replies, see my MOT isn't due for another 6 months.
So for the static vehicle inspection I'm safe to say I could reset it myself.
