Hi,

For several days I have a problem with iDrive. (525d E60 2005 - navi business)
It blocks once a minute. IDrive's freezes, hangs music, radio, PDC, iDrive everything stops you for about 4-5 seconds, then recovers. If I press the volume button or joystick while it's blocked nothing happening , but it keeps in mind the command and run as soon as he returns from "block session"

I-ve tried to restart IDrive : eject + volume pushed but didn-t work .

I-ve upload a video on youtube to see exactly what happens. (1st blocks at second 8 and 2nd time at 1:13)

water can do some funny things to them.

 

Dirty Nav DVD? A copy maybe that is throwing errors? Pull the NAV DVD and see if it gets better. Also, I had my DVD drive fail and it caused all sorts of hangs until it was replaced.

I-ve checked in the trunk ,and there is no water there . There are 2 boxes (modules) untouched between two protection.

I don-t have Nav DVD at all .

I-ve tried to reboot idrive but it doesn-t works . Eject + vol is for restart ?
