Default Idrive not wor6

Hi, I have a 06 BMW 550i and my idrive has totally went out and has been that way for 2 months.i replaced the ccc and nothing changed.i removed the idrive controller and disassembled it to check the boards and all is good.the thing is on the cd/DVD unit the lights on the button area's stay on even when the car is off completely. So I had to pull the fuse so it wouldn't drain the battery.i pulled the cd/DVD unit out and the fuse on the back of it is fine.im not sure what else to check at this point other than replacing the cd/DVD unit. I also tried the force reset on it and I got nothing.i cant even eject the nav disc.if anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.thanks

When you replaced the CCC, were you 100% sure the replacement was working? I've heard of people selling broken CCC units after they have failed and the seller decided to upgrade to CIC rather than have the CCC repaired.
