iDrive: music skips after a while

Today I was in the mountains, 1300-1400 metres, 20? C instead of 35? of the beach, and the music didn't give any trouble.
And this is a fact.
And I don't remember from winter the music skipping.
Will see in September and October, but I'm afraid I'm right: the CCC needs to be cooler.
Should I start to think to a pipe/hole, to bring the cool air to the CCC? Just a few centimetres from the AC mouth...
