I have a UK Jan 05 build 525d SE BMW.
In the manual it talks about iDrive controlled features such as door lock control when starting to drive. Unlocking just the driver door first. There is also mention of the lights staying on for a little while when you get out of the car. I have looked but cannot find these features in my iDrive system
Are the features dependant on model?

You've the options in the "iMenu". When you're at the start/info screen with the options: Climate, Phone, NAV, Audio, press the iDrive controller down, and the iMenu will appear.
