Hello All,

About to pick up a CPO 2006 530i ... had a question for you all regarding the language of the idrive ... I've tried playing an MP3 disc in there, and it works, although it doesn't display the song name correctly, since the song is in chinese ... lol ... I know the cars in Taiwan (E60 and E65/66) have Chinese for their idrive OS language .. is there any way we can get this in the states? Is it something as simple as having the stealer plug in his computer and changing it? Thanks!!

Sorry, it's not that simple. Usually a CIP upgrade can take from 4 hours to 8 hours.

thanks for your reply, guys!!

So I would have to ask for a CIP upgrade?

If I ask my stealer in the states to do this, do you think they would have the software available to do this?? If not, would you know where I could get something like this done?
