I bought mind from ebay about 5 months ago and paid 45USD brand new,
Or you can try Gary from BMW Newport (Member in here), he offers 25% off the list price.

The iDrive knobs are an easy upgrade and a nice way to sharpen up ur ride, esp if u have the black interior when it just blends right in. There is only a small difference on the underside of the new iDrive controller [leather in the center] but it fits well. You will notice that you lose some of the 'tactile' feel with the new controller but everything works fine and you wont notice it a few days into use......

I say go for it..it's not cheap, but it does add a nice touch to the interior!
