Recently had my iDrive screen replaced as there were problems adjusting the brightness. Now that they replaced it I am able to adjust the brightness when it's dark outside, but during daylight I can not.

Don't remember if it was this way before, I don't think so but I thought I'd check before lashing out

this adjustment doesn't change the brightness during the day for me. so i don't think there's a problem.. unless it's hard to see during the day.

During the day "without headlights or parking lights on" the little knob on the left side by the headlight switch does not adjust the iDrive screen but you can change the brigntness inside iDrive itself.
