Yep, it's neat to do once or twice but not a lot of useful info. Search for the exact procedure but if I remember, starting at the I screen, hold the controller down for 15 seconds, release, 3 clicks left, 3 clicks right, 1 left, 1 right, 1 left, press controller again.

There are actually two "hidden" menus in our cars (at least two lol!):
- a hidden idrive menu (which you were talking about) --> Not very much useful info as stated above
- a hidden instrument cluster menu --> LOTS of useful info
I'm not sure if original poster syrousd actually meant the hidden idrive menu or the instrument cluster menu, but here's the instructions how to get into it (instrument cluster menu):
