Idle Air Control faults! HELP

Hey guys, I need yall help on this one!

So I just finished removing the intake manifold on my 2004 525i to clean (125k miles). After spending a lifetime removing and reinstalling, I am getting two engine fault codes P1504 and P1508 (low signal to opening and closing IAC)

The car is now in limp mode (half power) and even after I keep checking the condition and functionality of the IAC, the code keeps popping up!

I had the car running and unplugged the sensor and plugged back in to see if the solenoid was working. It was working...

What am I missing guys!?

Clear the codes and see if they come back. If nothing else changed then I would assume that you unplugged your DISA when doing the intake work correct? These codes indicated the idle control valve so make sure everything is plugged back in. IF there are codes they will clear and if they remain they will probably clear after some time or just have them manually cleared.

I cleared them with my scanner started it up and again the codes came up.

The DISA valve only has one connector correct? I see the rod on the flap does in fact fluctuate like it should.

Yes. If it's seated correctly. Then you have to look at the Idle control valve connector just below it. Is it seated?

yes sir you are correct. When jamming the slippery intake pipe back on it knocked the connector slightly out of line. Car runs great now.
