So, I took my 05 545i to a local gas station for a state inspection. As they was backing out the car, they ripped off my lower oil cover with their lift. I've been looking around for this part, but can't find a part number to it. So if anyone can help me out please.
this is a picture of the part i am talking about. its the small panel you remove to do your oil changes under the car.
any help is greatly appreciated.

mine was missing on my 06 550i, and according to the dealer, could only be purchashed with the entire surrounding panel. so for the hell of it, i looked at different years on realoem.com, and found that on the newer cars, the little panel is sold seperately. i had to modify it a little, but it works like a charm.

Even if you have to replace the entire cover, they broke it. They should repair it. They might learn to be more careful with the next car.
I used to have an Audi All Road and a shop was adjusting the air suspension. During the diagnostic/adjust the car goes all the way down and then up. The mechanic knew the car well and was aware of this. He forgot to move the lift arm out and the lower aluminum body trim got destroyed. when I went to pick the car up they told me what happened and also said the replacement trim was already ordered from Audi and they will call me to replace it. I'm sure it cost them at least 200 or 300 for the part (plus their labor) but they screwed up and made it right.
