I went in for a software update, came out with a 10 page report of iss
A quick update on my project.
I've got the rear lights, Adaptive Bi-Xenon Headlights, Light Control Module for Adaptive & M Sport steering wheel. These seem straightforward, if someone can give me the instructions on retrofitting Adaptive xenons.
But what should interest you guys is this picture I've come across. I'm toying with the idea of putting in the new M5 drive by wire gearbox. I can get hold of the gearbox, and it just probably needs wiring and recoding. At most maybe a new Gear Control Module.

What do you guys reckon? Anyone tried this or has technical advice/input?

Can someone with some knowledge of gerabox help me with this. Is it just a case of taking out the mechanical gearlever and attaching the new one with maybe a new gear contorl module and some recoding? As per above pic.
For BMW it would make sense, as the outlay maybe the same, but they get to provide a facelift gearbox.
Any idea?
