While washing my car this morning I noticed that the lower access grill panel was missing.
Is this normal or did I get ripped off?
Usually these snap in panel pieces are pretty secure. But I've had my share of parts that mysteriously disappear.

Anybody else experience this?

Thanks, I've always wanted a spotless garage, now that I have one, it takes some work to keep it clean. But that's OK what else to I have to do with my weekends!

I talked to the BMW parts manager, and he said they replace about a dozen a year. So I guess I'm just one of the lucky ones.
The next one will be glued in (Just a little glue to keep in in place)

I noticed mine was missing one morning and had to go to the dealer to have a new one installed. The SA told me if you deform the lower part of the bumper in any way, such as the bumper being pushed up when rubbing a parking stall stop; it will pop them out. So always double check the front bumper when you pull away and feel the front end settling back down. Enjoy your ride!!
