If you look under your car, does it look the same as the pics?

First, it will be a while before I can get my car on a lift. Second, if you look at each pic in the link you posted, I challenge you to find a very good representation of the entire exhaust system.

According to real OEM 545i exhaust system is more or less identical to 550i (the rear end has different part no. - but no visible difference)

Andy,

thanks. This shows me what I was looking for. It appears to be a dual system until it enters the factory resonator then it comes out as one pipe to the muffler. It also appears that the resonator to muffler inlet pipe is a larger diameter. Do you happen to know the dimensions on the piping?
