I lease ....and I dont follow the break in guidelines ...am I wrong fo

You have the right to dispose of your car whether you lease or not. The procedures are just different. It is true, though, that part of the attractiveness of leasing is being able to dispose of an "invisibly" mistreated car easily. But, it doesn't seem to me that this attractiveness would have an affect on how you care for a car--because one should be able to dispose of an "invisibly" mistreated owned car eaily too.
