i gunned it and it didnt upshift

I think he floored it from a standstill and it just hit the rev limiter so he let off.........have you tried it again?

no i haven't tried it again.. and yes i floored it at a stop light floored it all the way down and it lost power above redline thats when i released the gas. haven't tried it again. i will one of these day but has this happened to anyone

sometimes itl shift late for me but never lose power or not shift at all......did you shut off DSC?

How do you know it didn't start in 1st gear? The lost power at redline is normal...that's the rev-limiter kicking in. Maybe I'm missing something here...

I just realized this whole time I was seeing "downshift" instead of "upshift"...

Dude get out there and do it again ! Safety first make sure theres nobody around for atleast a 1/4 mile put it in DS and give just a little brake pressure before you gun it !!!

Yes. Confusing thread. In DS the car should upshift everytime it hits red line up to top gear after which it will hit the limiter and cut power. If it's doing other than that in DS, it's broke.
